The Nigerian naira held a steady course across both official and parallel foreign exchange windows, buoyed by consistent liquidity adjustments from monetary regulators.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria placed the official exchange rate at ₦1,348.94 per U.S. dollar, with buying rates settling at ₦1,348.94 and selling figures recorded at ₦1,347.94.
Across commercial street trading desks, parallel market operators quoted the greenback at ₦1,390 for buyers and ₦1,382 for sellers. The narrow margin between official rates and informal market figures points to sustained convergence in domestic currency valuations.
