Police operatives uncovered a sophisticated indoor cannabis cultivation facility in Apapa on Tuesday, arresting two suspects during a targeted raid.
Officers from the Lagos State Police Command raided the residential hideout after weeks of intelligence gathering. Investigators found that the suspects converted the interior of the building into a climate-controlled greenhouse equipped with advanced hydroponic lighting, automated ventilation systems, and specialized nutrient irrigation lines.
The indoor setup allowed year-round cultivation of high-grade cannabis away from public view. Police seized hundreds of mature plants, dried narcotics packaged for distribution, and specialized horticultural equipment.
